Nigeria winger Ademola Lookman has emerged as Atalanta B.C.’s Player of the Season for 2023/24.
The Super Eagles star defended his title from the previous season, having helped the Bergamo-based side to finish 4th of Serie A with 69 points.
Lookman played an instrumental role with Atalanta winning the UEFA Europa League beating Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the final.
“It’s him again, Ademola Lookman!” the club statement on Thursday via their official website.
He had an impressive season, scoring 17 goals and dishing-out 11 key passes across all competitions, making him the team’s second-best scorer and assist provider, solidifying his claim to the ItalianOptic branded crown.
His hat-trick in the magical UEFA Europa League final in Dublin proved to be a decisive factor in his triumph.
