Rwandan champions Armeé Patriotique Rwandaise FC have officially unveiled former Asante Kotoko midfielder Richmond Lamptey as one of their current highest paid player, per reports.
As reported to you earlier this week, Lamptey has truly left the Porcupine Warriors to join the Rwandan champions on a free transfer for a two-year deal
Despite battling injuries and setbacks in the just-finished season, Lamptey, 27, made 17 league appearances and provided five assists for Kotoko and could have definitely been better if he had stayed fully fit in the entire campaign.
Armeé Patriotique Rwandeise FC won their championship for the 22nd time with yet another commanding performance throughout the just ended season with a stunning unbeaten run and topped the table with 68 points after 30 matches.
APC after securing the service of Richmond Lamptey, will definitely look to make some few more signings to strengthen their squad for their title defense and also hope for a stellar CAF Champions League campaign in the 2024/25 season.
The former WAFA middleman during his time with the 'Kum Apem' lads made the Black Stars final squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations which was held early this year in Cote D'Ivoire.
