The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have named the best eleven of the just-ended 2023 Africa Cup of Nations which was held in Cote D'Ivoire.

The competition was really an exciting one that saw most of the giants and favourites exit the competition early stages and was full of surprise outcomes.

Despite their jittery start and qualifying from the group phase as one of the third best nations, Cote D'Ivoire defied all odds to achieve the 'host and win' after beating Nigeria 1-2 in the final over the weekend in Ebimpé.

This is the Elephants third trimuph at the continent's biggest football competition having previously won in 1992 and 2015.

At the end of the competition, the CAF technical study team have analyzed the performance of every single player at the tourney and have come out with their best eleven of the competition.

Goalkeeper of the tournament Ronwen Williams (South Africa) manned the post, alongside the competition's Top Scorer Emilio Nsue (Equatorial Guinea) and Overall Best Player William Troost-Ekong (Nigeria), all made the cut.

One of the notable absentees from the list is sensational Simon Adingra (Cote D'Ivoire)- who exhibited a stellar performance especially in the final and was adjudged the Best Young Player
