Ibrahim Tanko has officially announced his final 25-man list for the 2023 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations which has kicked off already in Morocco 

Danish-based Ernest Nuamah who just joined the team in Morocco from the Black Stars camp made the cut and is expected to be a huge revelation in the competition.

Other notable names like Danlad Ibrahim, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, Zubairu Ibrahim, Emmanuel Essiam, Emmanuel Yeboah, Dominic Nsobila, Abass Samari all made the list.
 
The Meteors arrived in Rabat- Morocco's capital two days ago and have already held their first training session for Sunday's opener.
 
The Black Meteors who are in Group A will face Congo in their opening Group match on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, a day after the opening match of the competition.
 
Ghana will then take on tournament hosts Morocco in the second Group match on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at the same venue before the last round of group matches against Guinea at the Grand Stade de Tanger.
 
Morocco in their opening fixture of the game last night, came from behind to beat Guinea 2-1 to set off an explosive start.
