Former Ghana icon Charles Taylor, has sparked a discussion which might not douse any moment from now, after claiming that current Black Stars head coach Otto Addo is 'brain-dead' in terms of tactics.

Asampong Taylor, speaking on Angel TV added his voice to the repartee currently going on about Ghana’s poor show in their recent 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola (1-0 loss) and Niger (1-1). According to him Otto Addo is short of tactical ideas.

"The players are good but they don't show any seriousness when playing for Ghana. That is what I see. The Angola-Sudan game testifies that we are way below these teams. It seems they (Black Stars) are just playing around. We don't have players who are devoted to serving the country. Semenyo and Issahaku were playing like it was a training game.

"For me, I never believe that we don't have quality. No player won't deliver when you instil confidence in him. If we decide to play some players over and over. If you begin to bench some, they will be serious."

Ghana are currently bossing the 3rd spot in Group F, and must win their next two games against Sudan to keep their qualification aspiration intact.
