As the dust settles on the 34th edition of TotalEnergies CAF AFCON, all eyes are now on the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.
The preliminary draw for the tournament is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 20 February 2024, in Cairo, Egypt.
The draw ceremony is slated for 14:00 local time (12:00 GMT) and will set the stage for the tournament's preliminary round. This round will feature the eight lowest-ranked teams according to the FIFA ranking: Somalia, Djibouti, Sao Tome, Chad, Mauritius, South Sudan, Liberia, and Eswatini.
Scheduled to be played on a home-and-away basis during the FIFA Window of 18-26 March 2024, these matches will determine the four teams that advance to join the 44 exempted teams for the group stage of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.
