Qatar Legacy Ambassador Samuel Eto’o has stated that they are proud of Asante Kotoko forward Mbella Etouga’s achievement in Ghana.
Mbella Etouga and his compatriot Georges Mfegue joined Asante Kotoko in October, 2021.
Both Cameroonians played an integral part of the Porcupine Warriors team that won the Ghana Premier League title last season.
“Mbella had a beautiful season. Some months ago, my manager told me about him and even the national technical director spoke to me about him. We are very proud of what he’s doing in Ghana,” Eto’o said on Tv3.
Mbella has been a top attacking target of most clubs in and outside the continent, but Kotoko’s reluctancy to release the nimble-witted marksman, seemingly, ruled out a move.
