Cameroon Football Federation (CFF) President, Samuel Eto'o has showered praise on Asante Kotoko top striker Franck Mbella Etouga after an incredible debut season in the Ghana Premier League.
Mbella Etouga was signed on a two-year deal with his compatriot Georges Mfegue Omgba last year by Asante Kotoko.
Both players have been immense for the Porcupine Warriors, particularly Mbella who netted 21 goals for the side last season.
His strikes helped the Kumasi-based side to wrestle the Ghana Premier League title from arch-rivals Hearts of Oak.
Eto'o, who is currently on a two-day tour in Ghana lauded the qualities of the 22-year-old attacker in an interview with TV3
“Mbella had a beautiful season. Some months ago, my manager told me about him and even the national technical director spoke to me about him. We are very proud of what he’s doing in Ghana,” Eto’o said on TV3
Mbella has been a subject of transfer rumours in the last few months due to his finishing prowess.
