Senegal teenage sensation El Hadji Seck has signed a contract extension with Belgian Pro League side KAA Gent, the club have announced.
After joining up with the Planet Group Arena outfit from Senegalese Academy side Diambars FC in 2025, the nimble left-footed winger has lived up to his expectations with the Jong KAA Gent in the Challenger Pro League having netted 6 times and assisted 3 in this current campaign so far.
ln announcing the contract extension of the former ASFAC Academy product, the Belgian top-flight campaigners said via their club's official website: ''El Hadji Seck has extended his contract with KAA Gent by three seasons. The 19-year-old forward, who arrived in Gent in January last year, signed a new agreement until 2030.
''Seck is a quick and lightning-fast attacker. Last season, the Senegalese player made 20 appearances for Jong KAA Gent and contributed 6 goals and 3 assists in the Challenger Pro League. KAA Gent looks forward to his further development. Good luck and congratulations, El Hadji!''
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup looming, the Senegal national football team technical handlers would be keeping a close eye on his progress as they bid to assemble a strong strong for the global football event in June this year.
