The 18-year-old promising starlet has put pen to paper on fresh terms with the Blanquinegros, with his new deal set to take him through to 2028

Spanish-born Nigerian teen David Otorbi has signed contract extension with Spanish La Liga club Valencia CF, the club have announced.

The evergreen winger is believed to have inked a two-year new deal with the Estadio de Mestalla outfit, with an option of extension to three years when his current running contract comes to a close in the next two terms.

Having teamed up with the Valencia CF Academy team in 2019 at the age of 12, Otorbi has excellently progressed through the youth ranks to the Reserve side much to the delight of the club's hierarchy. However, with his promising talent as a rising star, management have decided to reward him with fresh terms by securing his future beyond the upcoming summer window.

A statement confirming the contract extension of the Nigerian prospect wideman reads via the club's official website: ''Valencia CF has reached an agreement with David Otorbi to extend the contract of the winger from VCF Mestalla.

''David Otorbi, 18, is in his seventh season at the Valencia CF Academy, which he joined in 2019 and where he has progressed to become a regular at VCF Mestalla and make his debut with the first team, being the youngest player in the Club's history to do so in an official match at 16 years, 2 months and 19 days.

''This season, Otorbi has played 18 matches for VCF Mestalla, scoring one goal and providing five assists, while also posing a constant threat down the right flank. The Valencian player of Nigerian descent is a Spanish Under-18 international.''

Given his Nigerian heritage, the Valencia-born native whiz kid remains eligible to play for the Super Eagles national football team at the international level having played for the Spain U15, U16, U17 & U18 national youth teams.
