Board Chairman of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Seth Panwum has charged the Ghana FA to desist from appointing people who run clubs to serve on the management committee of the national team.
According to him, ordinary people should, rather, be appointed to serve on the Black Stars management committee.
“We must appoint ordinary people to the Black Stars’ management committee, not people who run teams where players are picked for personal reasons rather than merit,” Mr. Panwum told Akoma FM.
Commenting on the Black Stars game at the AFCON 2023 against Mozambique, the NSA Board Chairman said; “Richard Lamptey should have substituted Majeed Ashimeru in the Mozambique game. However, Richmond was in the stands owing to some personal interest by persons,” he bemoaned.
