Black Queens forward Evelyn Badu is convinced that the team's panorama in the near future looks glittering despite not being able to secure qualification to the Paris 2024 Women’s Olympics.

The enterprising goal chaser played for the Black Queens as they suffered elimination from the qualifiers following their 4-3 aggregate loss to Zambia’s Copper Queens on Wednesday.

After the game, Badu took to X to appreciate the team and Ghanaians for their unflinching support.

"The future is bright," she said. "Thanks for the wonderful support."

The Black Queens are expected to touch-down in Ghana from Ndola, Zambia on Thursday before the players leave to their various clubs.
