The Ghana Premier League title race is intensifying, with only three clubs — Hearts of Oak, Asante Kotoko, and FC Samartex — remaining unbeaten after Matchday 6.
Hearts of Oak continued their fine form with a commanding 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea, thanks to goals from Hamza Issah and Mawuli Wayo. The result not only extended their unbeaten streak this season but also stretched their dominance over Chelsea to 11 consecutive matches without defeat.
Asante Kotoko have also maintained their consistency, building on their strong start to the campaign. The Porcupine Warriors previously edged FC Samartex 1-0 earlier in the season and remain among the top contenders.
Meanwhile, FC Samartex have proven to be one of the league’s most resilient sides, recording six matches unbeaten — a run that includes two victories and four draws. Their recent 1-1 stalemate with Medeama SC highlighted their determination to stay within reach of the league’s front-runners.
