Black Starlets winger Joseph Narbi remains optimistic about Ghana's chances of clinching the WAFU Zone B Cup of Nations following their impressive start to the tournament.
Ghana delivered a resounding 5-1 victory over Ivory Coast at the Legon Sports Complex, with Narbi scoring twice and earning the Man of the Match title for his outstanding performance.
As the Black Starlets prepare to face Benin next, Narbi emphasized their respect for all opponents but maintained a winning mentality.
"We know Ivory Coast is a stronger side but we respect the other teams. We go into every game with the mentality of winning, so we will be ready for Benin," he stated.
Ghana must reach the final to secure a spot in the Africa U17 Cup of Nations next year, having missed out on the previous three tournaments.
Narbi assured Ghanaians of their dedication to winning the trophy, saying, "The message I have for Ghanaians is that I promise them that we will win the trophy for them so they will be happy for us to also be happy."
