Ghananain champions Hasaacas Ladies have been handed a very tough group in the 2024 WAFU Zone B Women's Champions League qualifiers which starts early next month

The 'Hasmal Ladies' will return to the continental showpiece since 2021 after beating bitter rivals Ampem Darkoa Ladies by 2-1 to emerge champions of the 2023/24 Ghana Women's Premier League to end their two-year abeyance.

The victory has now given the nod to compete in the West African qualifying series in order to search for the spot to compete in the main competition.

The 'Doo' ladies have been put in Group B alongside Nigerian champions Edo Queens, AS Grade Nationale from Niger and Burkinabe side Ominisports Entichele.

Hasaacas Ladies are the first Ghanaian club to play in the CAF Women's Champions League in the maiden edition in 2021- where they made it all the way to the final with a stunning performance but unfortunately lost the title painfully to current holders holders Sundowns Ladies from South Africa.

Despite without head coach Yussif Basigi- who is currently with the Black Princesses preparing for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, the Greens will still hope to prove themselves in Cote D'Ivoire in order to shoot themselves in the main competition.

The WAFU Zone B qualifiers will run from August 10-23, 2024.
