Black Maidens goalkeeper Rahima Abubakari has called on Ghanaians to support the team ahead of their crucial FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Liberia.

Speaking before Saturday’s match at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Stadium, Abubakari said the team is well prepared and determined to win after a strong training period.

"Since we arrived everything has been going on well with us and training and everything has been good. And we are willing to win this game. We are well prepared and ready. We are going to play better than we played in Accra," she told GFA Communications.

The young goalkeeper also asked fans to support the team.

"We are pleading with Ghanaians to give us massive support and we are going to win this game," she added.
