Hearts of Oak Center-back, Mohammed Alhassan promises to qualify ahead of AS Bamako.
Hearts of Oak were beaten by 3:0 by AS Bamako in the 1st leg of the Confederations Cup in Mali.
The 2005 CAF Confederations Cup winners need to score three unanswered goals or more to brighten their chances of qualifying to the next round.
Hearts of Oak will host the return fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Head coach, Samuel Boadu was axed following a three winless run to the betPawa Premier League.
Interim head coach, David Ocloo assured Hearts of Oak of victory when he met the press.
Speaking to Peace FM, Mohammed Alhassan promised to secure qualification ahead of AS Bamako.
"We are very prepared and focused towards the game we will be playing on Sunday because when we came back we sat and talked to ourselves that going into that match we need to prepare more than 100% to be able to qualify," he said on Peace FM.
"Looking at what we are doing at the training grounds we are very much focus. Looking at the training that we did everyone is at his peak all fighting it is not going to be an easy task but with determination, hard work we are going to put in every effort to qualify," he added.
