Vincent Atingah Addae, the captain of Medeama SC, has emphasized his team's readiness to take on and triumph over Nigeria's Remo Stars in the upcoming CAF Champions League match on Sunday.

As the winners of the Ghana Premier League, Medeama SC is gearing up to face Remo Stars in the CAF Champions League preliminary round. The opening leg of this encounter will be held at the Cape Coast Stadium in Ghana.

Atingah expressed confidence in his team's preparation and conveyed their determination to secure a convincing victory. Speaking at a pre-match conference, he stated, “Well, our preparations have been good and with the support of the technical men, we’re good to go! Just to keep it short and simple, we are hoping for a good convincing win,” Atingah said at the pre-match conference.

The captain also called upon the fans to rally behind the team, urging them to come out in large numbers to show their support. He emphasized the unity of the Central and Western Regions and appealed to supporters from both regions to stand behind Medeama SC.

“I will just urge the fans to come in their numbers to support the team."

Atingah concluded by underlining the significance of regional unity, saying, "I will say Central and Western Region are like twins and so if the western region club is representing the country or central region club representing the country, it’s the same thing. So, I am calling on all the supporters to come in to support us on Sunday,” he ended.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 15:00 GMT at the Cape Coast Stadium.
