Captain of Remo Stars, Nduka Junior insists his side has learned from their last season's CAF Champions League humiliation at the hands of AS FAR Rabat and are fired to come back stronger against Medeama SC.

The Sky Blue's will play as guests to Medeama in the first leg preliminary round of the Champions League at the Cape Coast stadium on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

The second leg will be played on 26th August at the Remo Stars stadium in Sagamu, Ogun State.

However, while admitting that Remo's devastating exit at the hands of Moroccan giants was continental low point, Junior also sees it as a chance for his side to dish out a great performance  against the Ghanaian champions.

"We’ve learnt from our last early exit on the continent. We know they’re champions in Ghana, but we are also champions in our own right. We will definitely play our best football over two legs," Junior stated.
