Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Richmond Ayi, says Ghanaian clubs have to put a lot of measures in place before they can win CAF inter-club competitions.

Asante Kotoko won the Ghana Premier league and will be representing Ghana in the Champions league.

 
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak also defended their MTN FA cup title and will fill the Ghanaian slot in the Confederations cup.
 
Both teams are yet to start preseason ahead of the upcoming season, although, amidst turbulent off season, with both clubs in the news for bad reasons.
 
Hearts of Oak is the last Ghanaian club to win both the Champions league and the Confederations cup in 2000 and 2005 respectively.
 
The 25-year-old admits that there's a lot to be done before Ghanaian clubs can conquer Africa.
 
"Some of the pitches are not good," he said.
 
"For us to conquer Africa back, we need to put a lot measures in place and for a lot of our pitches and a lot of things to go up for the leagues value to go up for us that's what will help us," he added.
