Captain of Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Mavis Owusu recalls the disappointment last year in the qualifiers, having lost narrowly in the final and has stated their target is to cruise into the main competition.

In a pre-match interview, the Black Queens star disclosed with huge confidence that, collectively, they are very motivated and determined to book a spot in the main competition this time.
"Just as coach said, preparations and everything is high in camp. We were here last year and got to final but couldn't make it to the main championship."
"So our target now is to play in the main competition and the entire playing body is ready to do that."
Ampem Darkoa Ladies will kickoff their campaign this evening against Togolese champions Amis du Monde at the Samuel Ogbemudia Sports Stadium.
