Head coach of Ghanaian champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies, Joe Nana Adarkwa has disclosed that, they ain't in Nigeria to just add up to numbers as they have their sights set on the trophy and nothing else this time around.

The 'Nana Mma' get the opportunity to represent the nation once more in the WAFU Zone B qualifiers after once again emerging as champions of the Women's Premier League, beating sworn rivals Hasaacas Ladies via penalty shootouts in the final.

The team left the shores of Ghana couple of days ago to Nigeria- where the tournament will be held and have been eager and in serious preparations towards the challenge of which they couldn't exceed last year.

Speaking ahead of the game, coach Joe Nana Adarkwa says his girls are ever ready and poised for action with no injuries at their disposal. He furthered on by saying their target is to clinch the title and to cruise to the Champions League for the first time.

"We have been in serious preparations towards the WAFU Zone B qualifiers since winning the league and we hoping for a win. Preparations has been good and there's no any injury worries so far."

"My girls know what is at stake, we were here last year and got to the final but couldn't win so that will be our target this time around. Our focus is to win and qualify for the main competition."

Ampem Darkoa Ladies will kickoff their campaign this evening against Togolese champions Amis du Monde at the Samuel Ogbemudia Sports Stadium.
