Daniel Ogunmodede, who is the head coach of Remo Stars is optimistic about his side's chances ahead of their fierce CAF Champions League match against Medeama SC.
The former CD Feirense assistant manager will lead the Nigerian club as they look all set to slug-it-out with the Yellow and Mauves on Sunday at the Cape Coast stadium.
Ogunmodede however acknowledges that the Ghanaian champions will test his team’s courage.
"We are prepared to play Medeama. They are the champions of Ghana and that means a lot. We seek to explore the opportunities and see how it will go," he said at the pre-match presser.
"Yes, we have what it takes to beat Medeama. It is the reason why we are here. We also have our game plan and we'll see how it goes," Daniel Ogunmodede stated ahead of the game," Ogunmodede said at the pre-match presser.
"Our biggest challenge is that we are not getting a lot of information about Medeama SC and don't forget they are the champions of Ghana and we are the runners-up of our game. We are kind of a second feed and if they are not good they would not be the champions of Ghana.
"We know what we are facing tomorrow and we are hoping to give our best," he added.
Medeama will travel to Sagamu, Ogun State for the second leg which will come off on August 26, at the Remo Stars stadium.
