Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey shaked off injury to return to action over the weekend in their precious 0-1 away win over Leicester City in match-week of the English Premier League.
The 29 year old has been out action for weeks now since sustaining a knock against Manchester City in the FA Cup- where he played the entire first half but couldn't return for the second 45 minutes.
He's gone on to miss two more matches, against the Cityzens again in the 'top of table' clash in the league and Aston Villa.
But the good news for Mikel Arteta was that, the mercurial middleman has recovered and made a cameo appearance against the Foxes after coming on for captain Martin Ordegaard in the last six minutes against the Foxes last Saturday.
The important win powered Arsenal to maintain their two points lead at the summit of the league log with a game in hand to spare.
Thomas Partey's return is a double boost since he will also be available for Ghana's double header against Angola next month in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
