Ghanaian striker Abdul Aziz Yakubu was on target in his first-ever appearance for Wuhan Three Towns in the Chinese Super Cup against Shandong Taishan on Saturday.
Wuhan Three Towns clinched the 2023 Chinese Super Cup after defeating Shandong Taishan 2-0 at the Hankou Cultural Sports Centre.
Aziz Yakubu, who was making his debut appearance for Wuhan Three Towns, needed just ten minutes to open his goal scoring account for the Blue and White lads with a brilliant header.
On the 56th minute, Xie Pengfei sealed their victory with a fine strike which aided them to lift the prestigious trophy.
The 24-year-old lasted for 90 minutes in Wuhan Three Towns historic win over Shandong Taishan in the Super Cup.
