Ghanaian winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku once again scored a trademark goal to help Leicester City pick a vital 1-3 win against Swansea City in a thrilling round 9 clash of the English Championship. 

Fatawu, made the starting line up as usual and got his name on the scoresheet in this precious victory signifying how influential he was in the game. 

Jordan James gave the Foxes a one-goal lead at half-time with a very good finish. The lead was subsequently canceled by the home side thanks to Adam Idah’s 70th minute penalty. 

In the 77th minute, Fatawu arrived from the right flanks and sent a strong hit into the top corner - similar to most of the goals he’s scored in his career before center-back Jannik Vestergaard scored with five minutes to go to seal the win. 

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku now has three goals and an assists in nine league matches for Leicester City so far this season. 

The 21-year-old youngster is back the Black Stars squad for the games against Central African Republic and Comoros in the final two matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
