Slovenia club NK Tabor Sezana attacking midfielder Abdul Rashid Fuseini (21) has been named the Red-Blacks player of the month.

 

The Ghanaian youngster won the award after appearing in all four matches for the Slovenian Second Football League outfit in November.

 

Fuseini's output on the field helped Tabor to win three and draw one to remain unbeaten throughout the month.

 

Tabor started the month with a 2-2 draw against ND Bilje at Rajko Štolfa Stadium, where he started and played 62 minutes. 

 

Fuseini - the first player from Ghana to be the club's player of the month - played full throttle a period of seven days later when Tabor beat NK Krka 1-0 away, then Tabor hosted and dazzled in a 3-1 win against Tolmin. 

 

The Red-Blacks wrapped up the month with a 3-1 home win over Jadran Dekani was a full timer as they climbed 3rd of the league standing with 32 points - narrowing the gap with leaders Gorica who have kept abreast to 33 points. 

 

Abdul Rashid Fuseini has featured in 14 games and scored once for the Slovenian side. The lad, who is a former player of Accra Young Wise joined Tabor on a free transfer in September 2023, initially joining Serbian Super League side FK TSC Backa Topola from Accra Shooting Stars.
