Ghanaian striker Kwaku Karikari has signed a contract with AC Horsens in Denmark that will keep him at the club until June 2028.
Karikari arrives at AC Horsens from FK Jedinstvo Ub in Serbia, where he had a remarkable season, scoring 16 goals and providing 9 assists. His contributions were pivotal in securing the team's promotion to the Serbian Super Liga, and he was named the club's best player for the 2023-24 season. Over two seasons in Serbia, Karikari accumulated 29 goals and 16 assists in 68 matches.
He will start training with his new team on Monday and is anticipated to be available for their second league game of the season against Hillerod Fodfold on Friday, following Horsens' 1-3 loss to FC Fredericia in their opener.
Karikari, who previously played for Liberty Professionals and Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League, is now ready to take on a new challenge in Denmark, where he is expected to make a notable impact at AC Horsens.
