Italian Serie A heavyweights AC Milan are set for a showdown talks with La Liga side Valencia CF for the possible transfer of USA-born Ghanaian midfielder Yunus Musah this summer.

The former Arsenal U18 youth product remains the number one transfer target for the San Siro outfit and have been working around the clock to land him ahead of next term campaign.

According to a report from Spanish tabloid Mundo Deportivo, the Milan-based club are readying themselves for another showdown talks over the services of the talented attacking midfielder - with a fee of €13m plus 4 in bonuses to be tabled in an effort to get the deal done over the line in the coming weeks.

It's understood that Valencia CF are holding out a fee of €25m for their prized asset and that current suitors must fork out these figures to be able to prise him away from the Mestalla Stadium ahead of the 2023-24 football season.

Yunus once said he is looking forward to staying put with his side as he's in no rush to swap the La Liga top-flight for any other competition anytime soon.

"I am here and I am happy to be here," the 20-year-old told Mundo Deportivo."Yes, yes, yes," he added when pressed further to comment on his intentions to stay put at Valencia.

His deal with the La Liga giants will expire on June 30, 2026 and admirers have to splash on his head €18m to secure him this summer per his transfermarkt valuation.

Born in New York to Ghanaian parents, Musah decided to ditch Ghana and represent the USA senior national team at the international level.
