Accra Lions' promising young forward, Dominic Amponsah, has completed a move to Georgian club FC Dila Gori.
The 18-year-old striker signed with the Erovnuli Liga side during the summer transfer window, marking his first move to Europe.
Amponsah's transfer comes after an impressive season with Accra Lions, where his contributions were instrumental in helping the club secure a second-place finish in the Ghana Premier League. His standout performances caught the attention of FC Dila Gori, who confirmed the signing on their official platform.
"18-year-old Ghanaian central striker Dominic Amponsah will represent our club. Dominic joined our team from his native Premier League side, Accra Lions," the club announced, highlighting their excitement about the new addition.
Amponsah, known for his versatility and technical skill, is expected to make an immediate impact in the first team. His ability to play both as a central and second striker has already proven effective, as he scored nine goals and provided two assists in 43 appearances for Accra Lions.
His move to FC Dila Gori follows the recent departure of fellow Accra Lions player Emmanuel Dzigbah, who joined Serbian side FK Čukarički.
