Ghanaian defender Manuel Nana Agyemang has officially signed with Moldovan champions Petrocub Hîncești during the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old versatile centre-back was discovered through the fan platform Nordensa and is expected to bolster Petrocub's defence as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Petrocub announced the signing on social media, stating, "Petrocub made three more transfers! It is the former midfielder of Dacia Buiucani, Dumitru Bivol (22 years old), and the Ghanaian defenders Manuel Nana Agyemang (22 years old) and Gilbert Djangmah Narh (20 years old)."
Agyemang joins alongside fellow Ghanaian defender Gilbert Narh Djangbah, who also made the move to Petrocub this summer. Both players are anticipated to make an immediate impact as the club aims to defend their Moldovan Super Liga title and push further in European competitions.
Nordensa, confirming the signings, stated, "FC Petrocub Hîncești welcomes another top talent from Nordensa! Gilbert Narh is the latest addition to the current champions of the Moldovan Super Liga. The complete defender is ready to make an immediate impact and strengthen FC Petrocub Hîncești’s defence for the upcoming season."
