According to the official MLS NEXT Pro page, in July, Salifu booked his name as the first player in the history of the league to score four goals in one game.

After a season in the United States, Malaysia became the latest destination for this 21-year-old young player. With his presence at Red Giants, he intends to not disappoint Selangor FC supporters and teammates.

"This is my first time in Asia. The weather in Malaysia is similar to Ghana, so I'm sure this will help me to adapt quickly here," Salifu told the club's website

“I see that Selangor FC has a lot of supporters, which is one of the reasons why I chose to come here. For that, I will try to make them proud of this club and not let them down," the wish of Selangor FC's new imported young player.

Salifu will join the Red Giants camp and start his first official training today with his new teammates.
