Egyptian second tier side Shabab Al Obour have completed the signing of William Dankyi on a two-and-a-half year contract.
The former Hearts of Oak defender has been in the Pyramid country awaiting to sign the dotted lines, after seeing off his contract with the former Ghanaian champions.
The left-back was a key cog when Hearts won the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title, having also helped them to win two FA Cup trophies before leaving the fold of the Phobians.
Dankyi, 23, was represented by UK-based Lordico Promotions - Lord Abankwa, who swiftly brokered the deal.
The versatile player who previously played for Liberty Professionals will provide depth to a Shabab AL Obour defence which has been hit by inconsistencies.
