Ghana forward Daniel Afriyie Barnie is having a very good season in the Swiss Challenge League and is playing an important role in FC Aarau’s promotion push.
The former Hearts of Oak striker has scored nine goals and provided six assists so far this season, showing his importance in Aarau’s attack.
His performances have helped keep the club among the top teams in the league as they battle for a return to the top division.
Aarau are currently second in the table, level on points with leaders' FC Vaduz, but just behind on goal difference. This has set up a close and competitive race for promotion as the season nears its final stages.
