The representative of the talented teenage sensation of Ghanaian heritage has affirmed the Catalan giants advances over the services of his client ahead of the summer transfer window
Agent of Belgian-born Ghanaian teenager Jesse Bisiwu has confirmed that Spanish La Liga heavyweights FC Barcelona are currently tracking the budding star in an effort to lure him away from Belgian outfit Club Brugge next season.
The 18-year-old winger, who has been stirring for the reserve side Club NXT, remains a sought-after talent among European top guns, with the Camp Nou outfit now leading the race for his signature.
ln reacting over the speculation linking the Blaugrana to his client services, the Ghana-prospect winger's counselor has said as quoted by Spanish tabloid Mundo Deportivo: ''It’s true that Barcelona is closely monitoring Jesse and is one of the clubs actively following his situation.
''However, we are managing the situation calmly, step by step. Given the player’s talent, it’s perfectly normal to have official communications with several clubs, including big clubs like Barcelona.''
With his running contract set to expire on June 30, 2027, those vying for his services must fork out a fee of €800,000 if they are to land him in the summer as per his transfermarkt valuation.
Bisiwu has so far taken in 16 appearances by scoring 2 goals and assisting 1 for the Club NXT side across all competitions in this current 2025-26 campaign.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the talented budding starlet remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage despite featuring for the Belgium national youth teams.
