It has been revealed that, Spanish giants FC Barcelona were really interested in Ghanaian international Kudus Mohammed this summer and even requested for his service on loan just recently but had it turned down by his club AFC Ajax who will agree to only a permanent switch negotiations.
The 23 year old has popped up on the radar of lots of clubs who are very ready to lure his service including two Premier League sides Brighton and West Ham United- who had their €42 million bid rejected just recently.
Reports say FC Barcelona were in the lead initially to snatch him on loan with an obligation to buy but couldn't match up the asking price of the Jews, reason the deal fell through along the line.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate has always been on the wanted list of the five-time European champions, having scored high marks in the books of the club's former Sporting Director Jordi Cruyff after the 2022 World Cup.
