Dutch Eredivisie powerhouse Ajax have completed the signing of Brian Brobbey, who returns to Amsterdam after a very brief spell at RB Leipzig for more than 16 million euros and signs until June 2027.
Ajax and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement on the transfer of Brian Brobbey, who has signed a contract that will take effect immediately and will run for five seasons until 30th June 2027.
As reported by Ajax through an official statement, the Dutch champions will pay an amount of 16.35 million euros, which can be increased to 19.35 million through some variables.
Brobbey joined the Ajax youth academy in 2010. On 31st October 2020, he made his first-team debut against Fortuna Sittard in a 5-2 win. In 2021, the striker signed for RB Leipzig, where he had a brief spell.
Brobbey returned to Ajax on loan from RB Leipzig for six months. In that period, the Amsterdam-born striker made 13 appearances, scoring seven goals.
