Ghana youth international, Alex Opoku Sarfo excelled in Aris Limassol's important 1-0 win over Pafos in the 'top of the table' clash in the Cypriot topflight championship last Saturday night.

The 20-year-old delivered a majestic performance in his 84 minutes of action last night in what was a very tough and epic encounter at the Alphamega Stadium.

The former Benab FC star was in the thick of affairs in midfield having spared no ball and contacts and slide into every tackle to contribute immensely to his side's precious win, thanks to Veljko Nikolic's 63rd minute goal.

He came off in the 84th minute to avoid second booking and was replaced with Polish international Milosz Matysik. His countryman Eric Boakye also lasted the entire duration for the victors.

Aris Limassol after the win have leapfrogged Pafos to the summit of the league log with a better head to head as they are all tied up on 43 points each.

Alex Opoku Sarfo was recently ranked among the best U-21 holding midfielders in the world, by CIES Football Observatory.
