Ghanaian defender Alexander Djiku has urged his teammates and fans to stay focused as the Black Stars continue their push for a place at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Following Ghana’s impressive victories over Chad and Madagascar in the latest round of qualifiers, Djiku took to social media to express his determination and gratitude, encouraging the team to keep striving for their World Cup dream.

“We continue to chase our dreams for the World Cup 2026. Keep pushing forward and let’s make every moment count! We thank all Ghanaians for the support and love,” Djiku posted.

Ghana currently leads Group I with 15 points from six matches, putting them in a strong position to secure a fifth World Cup appearance.

Djiku, a key figure in Ghana’s defense, has been instrumental in the team's campaign, contributing to their solid performances at the back.

With crucial qualifiers ahead, the Black Stars remain focused on finishing the campaign strong, with Djiku’s message serving as a rallying call for both the players and supporters.

Ghana will resume their World Cup qualification journey in September when they take on Chad.
