The Black Meteors shot-stopper has signed a new contract to keep him at the Victoria Park outfit until the summer of 2027.

Scottish Premiership side Ross County FC have announced the two-year contract extension of Ghanaian goalkeeper Jordan Amissah following his incredible performance in the ongoing season's campaign.

The 23-year-old has impressed for the Highland side since his winter arrival, keeping four clean sheets in his 12 appearances for the club.

The club's official statement reads: “Ross County FC are delighted to announce Jordan Amissah has signed a 2-year deal with the club which will see him at the club until the summer of 2027.”

Amissah joined Ross County FC on a short deal in December 2024 after ending his six-year stint at English Championship club Sheffield United after the end of the 2023-24 season.

Ross County manager Don Cowie has lauded the goalkeeping qualities of the Ghana U23 goalie and his immense contribution to the team in the Scottish top-flight league.

"We are delighted Jordi has extended his stay at the club," Ross County manager Don Cowie said.

"He has been a great addition to the group since joining in December and has given us excellent competition in the goalkeeping area."

Amissah was a member of the Black Meteors squad that represented Ghana at the 2023 Africa U23 Cup of Nations.
