Ghana International Alidu Seidu has extended his contract with French Ligue 1 side Clermont Foot till the summer of 2027.
The all round defender will have five extra years to exploit his talent in the European topflight football where he has established himself amongst the flourishing youth.
He extended his contract in April 2021 to June 2025 but has displayed exceptional performance since then which necessitated adding another two years to it till 2027.
The 22-year-old has been an integral figure for the side from the Ligue 2 two seasons ago where de aided them gain promotion to the Ligue 1 last season.
His performance last season, especially in the second round, has convinced the side to extend his contract for further years.
Alidu Seidu is part of the newbies in the Black Stars who recently joined Ghana from other countries after his nationality became a case of concern between Ghana and Burkina Faso.
He played a part in Ghana's victory against Nicaragua in the September 2022 international break.
