Former Ampem Darkoa Ladies FC skipper, Mavis Owusu has completed a move to Saudi Arabian heavyweights Al Hilal ahead of the 2023/24 football season.

The Saudi Women's Premier League was inaugurated last year as the SAFF hope to promote it to the highest echelon and be part of one of the best in the world.

Mavis Owusu has been one of the integral and influential members of Ampem Darkoa Ladies and played another vital role in helping them clinch the domestic double last season.

On top of that, the versatile defender also led them to conquer West Africa after finishing as champions of the WAFU Zone B qualifiers to make it to their first ever CAF Women's Champions League.

She is joining her countrywomen Elizabeth Addo and current Black Queens team Cynthia Konlan at Al Hilal.

Mavis Owusu wasn't part of coach Nora Hauptle's last squad for the 2024 WAFCON qualifiers double header just recently against Rwanda.
