Ayew, who is the captain of Ghana is currently unattached after parting ways with English side Nottingham Forest and he is yet to decide his next destination.
Meanwhile, Wakaso is also deliberating on his next move as he will also call it it quits with Chinese club Shenzhen FC.
Wakaso, 30, was in the books of Belgian club KAS Eupen. He spent the better part of his career in Spain, starting out at Elche in 2008 and going on to also represent Villarreal, Espanyol, Las Palmas, Granada and Alavés.
