Black Stars captain Andre Ayew scored in Al-Sadd's 2:1 defeat to Shamal FC.
Andre Ayew broke the deadlock on the seventh minute for Al-Sadd.
Amjed Attwan equalised for Shamal, before Ali Olwan scored the winner for Shamal on the thirty-fourth minute.
The 32-year-old played the entire game for his side, as he continued his impressive form after scoring in their last game against Al-Sailiya.
Al-Sadd are seventh with seven points, whiles Shamal are fourth with nine points.
The Black Stars forward has been named in Ghana's squad for their two pre-World Cup friendly games against Brazil and Nicaragua later this month.
Ayew is expected to lead the Black Stars to glory in Qatar later this year.
