Ghana international Benjamin Tetteh has been ruled out of action for several weeks due to hamstring injury.
Tetteh is the latest Hull City player to face a spell on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury.
The 25-year-old suffered a hamstring injury after stretching for the ball in the first half of Hull City's 2-0 defeat to Sheffield United at the MKM Stadium on Sunday and was replaced by Ryan Longman.
He lasted just 14 minutes before going down in some pain waving his hand in the air in obvious discomfort, and after a lengthy period of treatment from City's medical staff.
The former Yeni Malatayspor attacker will be spending four to six weeks in the treatment room.
Tetteh was surprisingly named in Ghana's 29-man squad for the September friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua.
He is yet to score for Hull City after eight appearances with two assists to his credit.
Ghana will play Brazil on Friday, September 23, at Stade Oceane in Le Harve- France before taking on Nicaragua at Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
