The Black Stars centre-forward has extended his contract with the Cherries amid transfer move away from the Premier League side this summer.
Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has signed a new long-term contract with the English Premier League side AFC Bournemouth, which runs until the summer of 2030.
The 25-year-old attacker has been a key performer at Vitality Stadium outfit since joining from Bristol City in January 2023.
The club's official statement reads: “AFC Bournemouth is pleased to announce that Antoine Semenyo has signed a new long-term contract with the club, which runs until the summer of 2030.”
Semenyo enjoyed a standout 2024/25 season, notching 13 goals and seven assists in all competitions as the club achieved a record points tally in the Premier League (56) and attainted its joint-highest finish (ninth).
Speaking on his new deal, Semenyo also commented: “I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch, and I’m really happy to have signed ahead of returning for pre-season.
“From the fans to the staff and my teammates, I can’t speak highly enough of the people around the club. It’s a great place to be and I’m excited to get back to Bournemouth and continue the hard work with the new season just around the corner.”
Semenyo currently has 89 appearances for the Cherries in all competitions, with 22 goals and ten assists to his name. He’ll link back up with Andoni Iraola’s squad in the coming week as the team return for pre-season.
