Antoine Semenyo has wrapped up his stay at the Vitality Stadium with an explosive performance and AFC Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has described him as  one of the best he’s ever worked with.

Semenyo, who turned 26 just last Wednesday, struck a stunning late winner in what is his final game for Bournemouth as they beat Tottenham Hotspur by 3-2 in a dramatic fashion.

With the game finely poised at 2-2, Semenyo, who is expected to join Manchester City for £65 million this week, struck from outside the box to beat Djordje Petrovic and end the Cherries' 11-game winless run in style.

In a post-match interview, the Spanish tactician was full of praises for Antoine Semenyo whom he believes had the best of ending and added he is one of the best he’s seen.

“It’s a fairytale ending. Football sometimes gives you something back if you’re really committed. He is one of the best players I’ve ever coached.”

He has scored 10 goals and provided three assists for Bournemouth in this season’s campaign.

Antoine Semenyo will arrive at the City Football Academy later today to have his mandatory medical examination to seal his highly anticipated move to Manchester City.
