Ghana international Antoine Semenyo has been pictured arriving in Manchester ahead of his transfer to Manchester City from Bournemouth in the ongoing transfer window

The 26-year-old flew to the north west fresh off the back of scoring a winner for the Cherries against Tottenham Hotspur.

The in-form attacker is travelling to City to undergo a medical. Semenyo has enjoyed a great season so far, scoring ten league goals in 20 appearances for Bournemouth.

At the start of the January transfer window, a £60million release clause became live and a rush ensued to sign the forward. Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea all enquired about Semenyo but it is City who have won the race to sign him.

Despite the release clause being £60m, it is understood Bournemouth will receive £62.5m from the Etihad Stadium outfit as they bolster their attacking options . This fee will be paid in full to the Cherries over 24-month instalments.

Manchester City have also agreed to pay £1.5m in performance-related bonuses. They will also pay the Cherries ten per cent of any profit made should they sell the forward.

Semenyo scored a match winner in his final match for AFC Bournemouth as they defeated Tottenham in a five-goal thriller on Wednesday evening.
