The 20-year-old promising last line of defence of Ghanaian heritage has completed his move to the German fourth tier side in this current winter transfer window
German-born Ghanaian goalkeeper Ronny Boamah Seibt has sealed a free transfer deal with Regionalliga Nord club SC Weiche Flensburg 08, the club have announced.
The ex-FC St. Pauli U17 star, who had trials with 3. Liga side Alemannia Aachen in December 2025, has now settled with his new employers after being unattached throughout the summer.
A statement confirming the capturing of the Ghana-prospect shot-stopper reads: ''SC Weiche Flensburg 08 has reacted to the injury-related absence of goalkeeper Christian Rust and the resulting personnel situation in that position by signing Ronny Seibt as their new goalkeeper. The 20-year-old from Hamburg signed a contract with the regional league club on Tuesday. Previously, the young goalkeeper, who was trained at the FC St. Pauli youth academy, was without a club after a stint with Croatian club HNK Vukovar 1991 ended after just a few weeks.''
Sporting director Dominique Natusch stated to his club's official website: ''We had to react in that position. With talents who came through the goalkeeping academy at FC St. Pauli..."
Seibt is likely to catch the eyes of the technical handlers of the Ghana Senior Men's National Team, the Black Stars ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
