The man of the moment at the Bono Region based club is oozing with confidence of securing the domestic elite division title in his debut season after guiding his side to a historic qualification to the Ghanaian top-flight next term

The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season would be won by Debibi United Football Club, according to head coach Isaac Nii Armah.

The gaffer made the pronouncement after guiding his troops to their first-ever GPL promotion by defeating Tamale City 3-1 in the Zone One Playoff final clash of the Access Bank Division One League on Wednesday (May 13, 2026) at the Accra Sports Stadium.

With Aduana FC being the record league winners in their debut top division campaign, the high-flying manager believes his side has more than what it takes to replicate such feat with his current crop of players going into the 2026/27 season.

Speaking in an interview, the tactician boasted to Journalist Shaban Mohammed: ''We are going to win the Ghana Premier League next season if possible. We want to repeat the history of Aduana FC. We want to become the second team to win the league immediately after our promotion to the Ghana Premier League.''

He added: ''We have more than what it takes to win the GPL. These players are Premier League players and not Division One League players. We just have to add few materials and then we are good to go and that is the assurance for now.''

Debibi United Football Club, Port City Football Club and Football Club  Ashantigold 04 are the three Division One League clubs to gain promotion to the Ghana Premier League next season.
